Event Recap: #TBGBrunch

Thank you to everyone who came out to the first #TBGBrunch at Bar Louie in The Gulch! Of course as creatives we love brunch and mimosas, but the purpose of our event was to bring together people from Nashville's creative community. We did that, and let me just say we had an amazing time!

After the guests arrived and intros were conducted a mini coaching session took place. As you can see below, I covered first impressions, Alicia broke down how to "slide in...like you belong," and Melissa spoke on how to not take things personally.

Because we wanted everyone to get to connect with new people, we did a toast future collaborations and to working towards our goals that will allow us to work in our creative fields full-time...which is the ultimate goal, right?!

UPCOMING EVENT: The Blogger Girls present . . . BRUNCH

What a better way to network but over BRUNCH and MIMOSAS! The Blogger Girls present #TBGBrunch! Just like our Create.Connect event in the Spring, #TBGBrunch is a time to connect with BLOGGERS, photographers, writers, models, and stylish influencers! All are invited to come out and network. Bring your business cards, your stylish outfits, and your appetite!

The #TBGBrunch will occur on Sunday, September 27, 11am-2pm at Bar Louie in the Gulch. This is a 21+ event as alcohol will be served. Tickets are $35, with four different meal options. Each ticket includes:

• Mini-Networking Session with the Blogger Girls
• Your meal (three options available)
• Blogger Girls Pomegranate
• Mimosa VIP Swag Bag ($150 value)
• Gratuity & Tax 

The Blogger Girls, Alicia, KayElle, and Melissa will host a mini-networking session during brunch. The team can't wait to share their expertise in networking in Nashville's creative community. Our mini-session topics include:

• 'Hug, Handshake, or High Five' - KayElle helps you make an amazing first impression and getting comfortable greeting people for the first time.
• 'Slide in . . . Like you Belong' - Alicia tells us how to maneuver the creative community even though you might not be apart of the popular group. Becoming known for what you do is less about who you know, but more about HOW WELL you do it.
• 'Don't Take it Personal' - Melissa helps you get over . . . it. Being a blogger, writer, creator, or entrepreneur is hard. Everyone isn't here for your idea, but it's ok! We'll discuss your discouragement.

Upcoming Event: CURATED Fashion Show

Tomorrow one of our very own, Melissa of FAB Glance, will be co-hosting the CURATED fashion show put on by the Fashion Department from the Art Institute! The show is being held at the 429 Event Space with doors opening at 6:00pm. Ona Rex, People Like Art, Van Hoang, and Brittany Bennett are the featured designers for the evening.

The event is free; however, donations are encouraged and will benefit Nashville Fashion Week’s Nashville Fashion Forward Fund of the Community Foundation of Middle  Tennessee.

                          

Nashville Fashion TV will be in the building filming and interacting with guests, and KayElle  will be working with them as a host and producer for the evening so be sure to be camera-ready because you might be interviewed!.
