We are one week away from our signature event, Create.Connect! The Blogger Girls developed Create.Connect as a way to get creatives to CONNECT with each other before Nashville Fashion Week. It's the foundation of our organization - CONNECTION! We always strive to connect with like-minded individuals who are working to develop their brands, reach, and influence. On April 4, 2016, we will host a networking event that is sure to set your creative juices flowing for the new year.

NUMBER 1 - GUEST SPEAKERS - Last year we invited three guest speakers from various creative industries: a blogger, a business owner, and a photographer. The response was overwhelming as guests were excited to hear the expertise of these individuals. This year will be no different; we've invited three new Nashville creatives to inspire your greatness

JazzyNash Shoe owners, Jazmine & Samaki will speak about being apparel entrepreneurs in Nashville. JazzyNash is the only mobile shoe boutique in Middle Tennessee.

Helene Sula, blogger for www.heleneinbetween.com is an amazing blogger who teaches bloggers about blogging! LOL! Listen, if you want to make this a full-time job, Helene is the girl to teach you how to do it.

Celebrity Wardrobe Stylist, Payton Kemp, will be on tap to talk about the business of style. Payton is a stylist, creative director, and online influencer. This triple threat will speak about building a brand in fashion.

NUMBER 2 - SHOP LOCAL -This year we are adding a new element to the event, VENDORS! As this event is the day before Nashville Fashion Week, we thought we'd bring some fashion & beauty vendors to the mix. Each vendor is a local business, which means your dollars will be cycled back into Nashville's fashion & creative community! NUMBER 3 - MAKE NEW FRIENDS - The feedback we loved about last year's event was how many people CONNECTED to not only work together, but become friends.  Photographers connected with models, store owners connected with bloggers, and on & on! Being in a creative field is kinda lonely, especially when you leave everything you know to follow your dreams. Why not come to a networking event, crafted just for creative influencers?

NUMBER 4 - GET READY FOR NASHVILLE FASHION WEEK -It's no coincidence that we host this event on the day before Nashville Fashion Week. As bloggers, it's hard to feel important at such a big event. However, coming to a meet-up BEFORE the big event will allow you to know some people and potentially feel less alone (see Number 3). Plus, you can ask seasoned attendees about the in-and-out of attending the event. Believe us, it's a marathon, not a sprint!
