Event Recap: Create.Connect

We hosted our 2nd annual Create.Connect two weeks ago. We are so pleased with the amazing turnout and overwhelming response! Emma Bistro was the site for the style setter meet-up, but this year with the help of the Exquisite Appeal event coordination team the venue was transformed. Our event planners truly made our vision come to life with the drapery and lights!

A big thank you goes out to our corporate sponsor, BABE Beauty Bar! The beauty professionals at BABE are more than hair stylists and make up artists, they are personal beauty consultants. One guest walked away with a blow dryer set and exclusive BABE products as the winner of their giveaway during the event. For more on BABE Beauty Bar, visit their website and follow them on social media

Another aspect to this years event included having vendors set up shop during the event. We always support shopping local because it keeps the money within our community, so we wanted to feature some of our favorite businesses. The vendors included: Styles Boutique, JazzyNash Mobile Shoetique, Pura Vida Vintage, Daisy Alexandria Designs, Glam Room, Fashion For Every Body, The Closet Experience, and Kiia Bath & Body

This year's speakers were phenomenal. Celebrity stylist, Payton Kemp, shared her journey. She gave great advice for those wanting to become personal & celebrity stylists and for people who are generally interested in the fashion industry. Helene Sula, blogger and brand strategist, shared how she took blogging as a past-time then turned it into a full-time business. Samaki and Jasmine, owners of JazzyNash Mobile Shoetique shared their journey into entrepreneurship. The event ledt guests feeling inspired and ready to take over the Nashville creative scene.

The night was filled with networking, shopping, and learning, and we cannot wait until next year's event!
